Spring fishing is just about here. Pretty soon we will be throwing Skawla Stonefly patterns in March on The Bitterroot and Clark Fork Rivers. In April, we will be fishing the Bitterroot, Clark Fork and Missouri with a variety of dry fly patterns. Last year we had excellent fishing on the Missouri in April and May. When June rolls around we expect most of our concentration on Rock Creek and the Blackfoot where the monster salmon flies will be out in force. During the salmon fly hatch it is common for each boat to have 200 to 300 dry fly hits!

For those of you that want to be sure you have lodging at the Clark Fork River Lodge this year, you maybe want to get on that early! We are already booked for most of June and September at the lodge. The Clark Fork River Lodge is a great place for getaways, self-guided trips, retreats and family reunions. Come visit us with your family and friends… you know you won’t regret it! Just want to go fishing? Sign up now!

We are the largest permit holders on Rock Creek and we live here on Rock Creek year round!
