“Have been fishing with John for over 25 years. Every year is a new experience. We find rivers and go to places I haven't visited before. "John Perry is "THE MAN" when it comes to fly-fishing. John is a legend in Western Montana and in the world for that matter in the pursuit of catching a wiley trout with a fly. I learned long ago the best way to learn something like fly fishing is to do it with someone way better than me and with someone that has more passion for it than me. That person is John Perry. I know of no one better and I have been around the sport for 35 years. He knows the fish, he knows the rivers, he knows the bugs and sometimes I actually think he speaks to the fish! He makes it fun and enjoyable. He has actually invented many of the flies you see in your local fly shop. He loves to teach and loves to see his clients catch fish, enjoy God's beauty, and have a great experience. We stayed at his amazing Clark Fork river lodge, with a huge deck overhanging the river with views like no other. It was an experience I recommend to anyone. We now come back every year.
